Is this Hopper's Lake or Swan Lake?

Also, did you know that you can click on the pictures to enlarge them? Please click on any picture to enlarge them.

The drains have been completed in the Mens bathroom, and the womens bathroom demo is complete, except for the mirror.

95% of the existing lighting fixtures are being replaced with new Energy Star Lighting.

This picture shows the old fixtures removed.

The wall has been closed between the lobby and the Energy Shift office:

Update: These pictures are from Wednesday.

The HVAC system is being redone. The existing system was a plenum supply, without any diffusers, or ducts with the exception of return ducts.

So we are adding plenty of ducts, and diffusers all over the office.

The building will be supplied by 5 seperate Units, and will all be monitored and control via web interface.

This photo shows the new ceiling grid in the lobby. Most of the office will be a 2x4 Grid, while the lobby will be a 2x2 grid. Previously, the Lobby was a 1x1 grid.

The Landscapers were here earlier in the week and they did an outstanding job.

These bushes had not been cared for in years. Now all the bushes are trimmed, the litter has been removed and dead branches have been removed from the trees. The building now has some curb appeal.

The roughing has been completed for the mens bathroom and janitors closet as seen here.

Update as of 10/20/2006:

The electrical has been approved, and they are closing both sides of the sheetrock walls.

This wall shown here was cut down to half-height as per the orignal plans.

Trenches were dug for new fixtures in bathroom and janitors closet:

Some additional wall with sheet rock.

The chalkboard has been removed, and sheetrock walls have gone up in the old conference room.

Sheet Rock was added to most of the new walls. The Electricians are adding outlets to these walls.

Most of the bathroom walls have been torn down and so have some of the fitxtures. A lot more work will be done over the coming days.

New hole in the wall for the new janitors closet:

New entrance to the womens bathroom:
This photo shows the old mens room on the left and the old wheelchair bathroom/janitors closet on the left. All fixtures have been removed.

This photo shows the removal of the old reception wall behind the lobby. The area is being converted into an office.
The next two photos show the new entrance to the conference room:

The opening on the right is the conference room, and the door on the right is the lobby entrance. The middle door is a closet. These two photos show the old conference room which is being converted into two offices. This photo shows the small office in the back of the room.
The office with the windows will belong to Vito.

Some of the studs have been put up in the building
This shows the new offices for J. Blanco:
Notice the hole is now closed in with new metal studs.

This photo shows the rest of the J. Blanco office space:

Update as of 10/11/2006:

Mike Fanning (shown in picture #2 and Joe Furio have assembled BGA's new Server and phone equipment cabinet. Picture #1 shows the cabinet 80% complete..... still to be added are the control portion of the UPS, rack shelf for the monitor and keyboard drawer and T1 equipment. We will also add our server and other equipment still used at our Glen Rock office once the final move takes place. Also notice that we have removed mpst of the old wiring that was on the wall.
Picture #2 shows the installation of the new UPS battery.

Here is a view of the entrance coming from the main parking lot:

Here are 3 photos of our main parking lot:

And last but certainly not least is this photo of Hopper's Lake which is located just across the street from 99 Bauer Drive. I can't think of a better site to see every day from your office window.

Here are some more beautiful photos from the outside:

This is what the back of the building looks like:

Note: The dumpster is only there for construction and demolition purposes. It will be moved when we move in.

Our new home includes a loading dock, which leads to a warehouse area.

J. Blanco will be using the area for small scale shop work which includes Welding and Machining.

Here are some of the existing mechanical and electrical utilities at 99 Bauer Drive:

The next two photos show our HVAC units. Sooner or later we will be replacing these units with newer energy star compliant units.

BGA will be replacing and/or refurbishing these items, as we want to do our best to conserve energy.

In the long term future, we are considering bringing power production to the site. Some possibilities include green energy such as Solar Cells or Wind Turbines, and/or conventional diesel or natural gas generators for backup generation.

The most looked over feature when you move into an office is storage space. The first two photos show our new server room. The big black box on the right is our new server rack. We are installing 2 T1 lines, and VOIP phone services. We will have nearly 10x the bandwidth of our current offices, and more phone lines to meet our customers needs and support our growing business. Most of the wires shown on the wall to the left will be cut and removed.

Here is our oversized supply closet:

And here is the garage in the back (not to be confused with our warehouse, which I will post pictures in a later blog).

The Dude told me he wants to park his Flaming Orange Jeep here. So go see Vito, he is interested in renting it to you.

The most important part of any home or office: The Kitchen.

We have a oversized kitchen which with stainless steel sinks and large counters, as shown in picture #1

Outside of the kitchen is a large cafeteria area. Picture 2 shows where we will place Vending Machines and Picture 3 shows the remainder of the cafeteria area.

The best part of the Cafeteria is outside the building.... Three large benches where we can have lunch Al Frecso.

Here are a few of the offices at 99 Bauer Drive.

This will be Bruce's office:

Two typical offices:
This office is the large office at the back of the building.

99 Bauer Drive currently contains 2 large conference rooms. We are retrofitting the conference room shown in pictures 4 and 5 into two offices, one of which will be for Vito.

The chalkboard will be moved to the other conference room shown in pictures 2 & 3. Picture 1 shows the entrance to the conference room from the main entrance. Clients can now meet us in the conference room without going through the office first, giving us all some privacy and more importantly, a more professional look to our office. An entrance to the conference room will be added from the main office area as well.

The biggest renovation will be the updating of the bathroom facilities.
Currenly we have 4 bathrooms: 1 Mens, 1 Womans, 1 Shared Handicap ToiletJanitors Closet and a Executive Bathroom.

The first three bathrooms will be torn down to make way for brand new mens and womens bathroom that each feature it's own handicapped stalls, as well as a new janitors closet.

Pic 1 is the Mens Room

Pic 2 is the Janitor's Closet/Handicapped Toilet.

Pic 3 is the Womens room.

Pic 4 is the hallway infront of the mens room and handicapped room/janitors closet which will be gutted to accomodate the new mens room
Of course this is the Executive Bathroom, or as the employees of BGA like to call it "The King's Throne". This bathroom will remain as is.

Here are photos of the main floor area under construction. Notice in the first photo the huge hole in the wall. That was not due to demolition, but the previous occupants of the building had the wall constructed like that. We have no idea why.

We will be putting up new walls, and offices in that area for J. Blanco Associates.

The area in the second two photos is where the new cubicles for BGA employees will be placed.

Notice we are putting in all new ceiling tiles and carpeting and or tiles throughout the building as well. HVAC duct work will also be modified for our reconfigured office space.

Photos of the main lobby under construction.

We have torn down the ceiling tiles and ripped up the carpet. This will be our future reception area.
